MiniRoos - Clinic

Registrations closed for 2022

Our clinic is aimed at kids aged 4-7 for first timers and kids who want to continue their skill development. There is no mid-week training, only Saturday morning clinics that run 9.00 – 10.15 am.
Five times a year we organise “gala days” where we play at a local venue against other clubs (the clubs share this day around). Clubs involved are usually Knox, Croydon, Montrose, Ringwood and ourselves. These gala days are a great way for kids to learn the skills learnt at our normal clinic days in a fun and friendly (non-competitive) game environment. We usually start after Easter and go through to early September.

MiniRoos - Sub Juniors

Registrations closed for 2022

Our u8-u11 teams are aimed at finding the right level for your child in a fun and friendly environment. And yes, the kids play “real games” against kids from other teams. They are non-competitive leagues so no ladders or official scoring is recorded. We grade the teams to their levels and we have 3 choices 1. Kangaroos (advanced) 2. Wallabies (intermediary) 3. Joeys (beginner) Typically, we aim for Joeys but we can always adjust mid-season if required. Training is mid-week and will be either once or twice per week depending on age group and coaches availability. Boys games are Saturday morning. Girls games are Sunday morning. The fixtures are home and away and we are placed in the Eastern league, teams can be as close as Montrose, Croydon, Ringwood and Knox and as far away as Ashburton, Collingwood and Sth Yarra. Game times vary but games are usually completed by 12.00. Games are approx. 2 x 20 minute halves but do vary across the age groups. Our aim for these age groups is that everyone experiences every position through the season and gets as equal game time as possible. Costs are $475 and there are no further weekly costs. This fee also includes a full uniform (socks, shorts and playing top and a spray jacket).
